Title: Colours of the Bush
Description: I always search for these rainbow birds wherever I go. They are so colourful, and each one is unique with different vibrancies of colours. They just seem as though they are always happy, and who wouldn't be if you were this striking and colourful? I managed to take a photo of this particular lilac-breasted roller as it perched up on a branch waiting for an opportunity to fly down and catch a passing insect. The area had recently had a fire, and the new grass was just coming through, which meant that insects were in abundance.
